Plans are underway for this year's edition of the Courage Canada Trail Ride.
VALID in Vegreville was the recipient of a large donation yesterday.
A cheque for $2,195 was presented to the Association on behalf of the Courage Canada Trail Ride.
Curtis Anderson says after suffering a brain injury while bull riding at the Ponoka Stampede in 2002, he and his family started the Courage Canada Trail Ride in 2004 to support Brain Injury Awareness.
Anderson says the ride has gone on to raise over $147,000 in support of various organizations.
This year the Courage Canada Trail Ride will be held on Saturday, May 28th.
