The County of Minburn has issued a partial fire ban, including rural areas and hamlets
The County of Minburn has issued a partial fire ban, that took effect on Friday.
Burning barrels and campfires will still be allowed, as will propane barbecues.
Landowners who have recently burned brush piles or other debris are requested to check their burns and ensure the burn area is extinguished.
No fire permits will be issued until the fire ban is lifted.
Failure to comply with the fire ban will becharged for the fire response and face possible charges under the Forest and Prairie Protection Act of Alberta.
