Three bridges in the County of Minburn will be getting some work done
The County of Minburn is getting it's ducks in a row when it comes to its infrastructure repair list for the year.
At their last council meeting, a delegation from W.S.P Canada Inc. were tasked with preparing a tender package for the County, before getting bids from contractors on the job.
Director of Protective Services for the County of Minburn, Ross Warren, says they have to get the job done soon. Bridge repairs will need to be done before April 1, as they aren't allowed to do any bridge work at certain times of the year because the bridges span the Vermilion river, and could disrupt the spawning of fish.
Warren adds that they estimate repairs to cost between 3 and 4 hundred thousand dollars.
