The 2018-19 school year marked another busy one for the C.A.L.S. – Breakfast Club ...
That’s the number of snacks served up by the Community Association for Lasting Success’ Breakfast Club during the 2018-19 school year.
Breakfast Club Coordinator Heather Giebelhaus talks about the numbers.
Giebelhaus says absolutely every one of the students at the four locations they serve is eligible to take part in the program, at no charge.
She talks about how the program is funded.
Giebelhaus adds the Breakfast Club also relies, and greatly appreciates, their volunteers like VALID as well as parents, grandparents and guardians of children at the schools.
